Artist Josiah McElheny talks about beauty and seduction.
Giada Ghiringhelli is a multimedia artist recently graduated in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She discovered the audio-visual medium during her art education in Switzerland and found in it an intense dimension in which to expose herself. She is interested in the possibilities, limits and characteristics of video and sound; her works explore the images in motion through the manipulation of space, time and movement, while employing light and the body as main compositional elements, creating artworks of rhythmic sensation and artificial reconstruction. Her videos have been exhibited internationally and recent screenings include the TV channel Souvenirs from earth (France + Germany), International Videofestival Bochum (Germany), Re-new 2009 (Copenhagen, Denmark), New Media Meeting (Norrköping, Sweden), ANIWOW! International Student Animation Festival (Beijing, China), DOTMOV Digital Festival (Japan+Hong Kong+Sao Paulo), Optica Video Art Festival (Gijón, Spain).
